  • It made me nauseous to read this article. My two siblings and I were neglected by our birth parents and were placed in a foster home. We were later adopted by my adoptive parents, who were abusive and neglectful.

  • Have you ever had a child with an addiction to alcohol/drugs? Sometimes tough love is the most effective way. A friend of mine just tried to help a woman who was kicked out of her mom's house because of a drug addiction.

  • From what I understand, after cleaning, 90% will die within 7 days. But what about the other 10%? Humans created this mess, and if we have a chance of helping even 5% survive, I believe we have a moral obligation to do what we can to save as many as we can.
